In 1999, he moved to France, and then began research in Plastic Arts at the
Sorbonne Paris I, under the direction of Michel Sicard. This research led in
January 2014 to the defense of a thesis under the title "historical meaning
and aesthetic meaning in contemporary art. 
Since 2002, Jung Min Choi is also a correspondent for the Korean press.
